Service Disclosures: PMW’s Role in Your Care
PMW does not replace your physician, healthcare provider, or other qualified healthcare professional. In addition, PMW does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide medical treatment.
Laboratory testing and results are the responsibility of the laboratory performing the testing. PMW does not interpret laboratory results or provide medical advice regarding your results. Instead, your ordering provider advises you about your care and next steps.
Preparing for Your Collection
Required orders, preparation, accepted specimen types, and laboratory instructions depend on the requested collection. Also, contact PMW before booking if you are unsure what is needed. Therefore, follow your provider’s or laboratory’s preparation instructions; do not change medications or fasting routines based only on PMW’s general information.
Availability, Fees and Testing
PMW serves the Greater Tampa Bay area, subject to location and appointment availability. Confirm service coverage and the requested collection before your visit. However, collection fees and laboratory testing fees may be separate. Insurance coverage, testing turnaround, and result delivery are determined by the relevant laboratory, provider, or insurer and are not guaranteed by PMW.
